Ensure that gutters are fixed adequately with the correct capacity and fall for the roof it drains. Also ensure there is an appropriate number of downpipes to drain the gutter.
Before finishing begins, ensure that the house is closed to the weather. This will avoid damage to finishes due to weather exposure.
Screeds - Drying Out

Ensure sufficient time is allocated for drying of wet finishes; hanging doors too early could result in twisting or warping. To speed up drying of wet finishes, allow adequate ventilation.
